little people, BIG MINDS
Childcare Philosophy
We strive to provide an atmosphere which allows learning through discovery and play with the guidance of educated teachers. The objective is to furnish children with a relaxed, consistent, and secure environment that promoted trust. We believe that as unique individuals all children learn differently. Our program is designed to inspire creativity, intellectual, physical, emotional and social growth. We will provide education, understanding, nurturing, love,
support, and friendship in a happy and healthy school home setting. Each child in care will receive respect and a loving and supportive environment in which to grow, learn, and respects others as well as themselves.
In addition to our commitment to your child, we also believe it is key for us to have an open honest line of communication. We must always know that both parent and teachers are thinking of the children’s best interest. We will strive to be on the same page at all times. Consistency is the key for healthy childcare. We do not want to undermine your teachings and methods at home. Our combined efforts will provide stability and consistency for your child. We believe these two qualities are essential to a child’s development.
We have individual conferences with each child’s parents in their home
once-twice a year. This is an excellent opportunity to address any concerns or
changes in your child’s needs and development. It also allows for the child to
share his/her life with us. These meetings can be scheduled at your convenience
and are completely optional.
We also have a summer picnic once a year for all the parents and children
to come together. We believe it is beneficial for the parents to know one
another on a more personal basis. After all, your children may become life long friends!
